I admit to being a PMR fan and am just starting on a replica of their workshop as shown on their website, eight machines. engine, boiler etc.

Would be good to see a PM picture thread of any of their models.

Edited to say I did ask PM if ok with them, More than surprised to receive a fully dimensioned drawing of their own site one complete with a fully itemised list of all the pulleys, shafting etc that would be needed, Well pleased.

Workshop is 48 inches long by 18 inches wide by 12 inches high

I built one of their engines a while back, ordered a set of castings through Forest and thoroughly enjoyed making it. It is quite a large engine (foot rule in photo) the bed and flywheel pushed my ML7.to it's limit!

That's nicely done Alan, far more subtle finish than you see on most of the American made ones where they like a bit of bling and none of those nasty slot head screws

John (JL) over on MEM forum has done a very good diarama of a workshop using some of the PMR machines, this is the video of it and if you want to follow the build it is in this thread but you will need to join if you want to see the pictures that are posted as attachments

A recent thread discussed the correct direction of the drive of a shaper. I believe the conclusion was the opposite to what is shown 2 minutes into the video.

Many thanks to Billy for opening a slot to show models from PMR. As noted in the previous PMR thread I include my mill , grinder and press. The legs on the grinder and press are cast in aluminium and care is required to avoid bending when worked on.

RayAs noted before, uploading to this site is rotating some of my photos. The press and grinder are upright in my album. Though it is possible to save them to your computer and rotate later.
