I think the confusion is caused by the switch. I initially assumed that it was the centrifugal switch bet then realised it would remove the power totally from the motor when it opened. I suspect that this is a thermal cut out switch. If I am correct then you will need 5 wires between the motor and the reversing switch rather than the normal 4. This is my understanding of the internal wiring of the motor. The run main winding is connected between U1 and U2 The auxiliary winding is connected between W1 and W2.V2 goes to V1 via the centrifugal switch.
