Can anyone advise me please about building this steam engine?

The plans are on the US based "John Tom Engine" site [free downloads for all sorts of model engineering projects].

The Vee Twin looks interesting and I thought to scale it up about 30% for ease of construction. Are there any specific issues in building it (other than build notes in German)? Does it run well, etc?

In fact anything else you might know about the engine or building it would be helpful before I start ordering materials.

        Many Thanks

        Barry

Its not a very commonly modeled engine here or in the States so you won't find a lot of details about it unless you have a search around the German ME forums.

A quick look though the drawings does not show anything that would phase me but I don't know what your level of experience may be. Enlarging it by that amount should not be a problem, same with the instructions just copy them into an online translation and you should get the jist of things and a few interesting translations of some of the technical terms.
