I am trying to remove the tailstock chuck from my Super 7, on my ML7 there is a hole through which a rod can be put to knock out the chuck, How do I remove the super 7 chuck as this is not an option? Rgds DW.

DW Just unwind the hand wheel and it should eject

If it doesn't eject when you retract the barrel – because there is no tang on the taper, or it is too short – try using wedges between the back of the chuck and the end of the tailstock barrel.

Brutal method – hold one end of a piece of round bar in the lathe chuck, and 'tother end in the tailstock chuck. Lock the barrel but make sure the bed clamp is slack, then give the front of the tailstock a whack using a piece of wood as a drift.

You could always turn the handle clockwise until the barrel comes out, pop a bit of brass rod through the feed nut and (gently) knock the taper out from the back..
