        Hi.

Do any boiler makers or model engineers recognise the boiler code initial

        RCS 021 10-86.

This boiler stamp belongs to a 5" Sweet Pea that is for sale in the UK, a new model, but the original certificates cannot be located.

I would like to find the certificates or more importantly contact the commercial boiler company that constructed the Sweet Pea boiler to verify its certification and obtain new certificates.

If any model engineer can help in this identification I would appreciate it.

        Thank you.

        Hayden

The 10-86 is likely to be 0ctober 1986 as I'm sure you realise. Therefore the original certification is worthless now and has been for quarter of a century. Knowing the original builder might give you some reassurance that it was originally well constructed by a reputable firm but that won't indicate that it wasn't abused during its life. Equally it might only have been steamed a had full of times.
