I bought some Harding 5C collets and these were included. Could someone please let me know what they are?

Looks like a Morse Taper, if the base has a rounded edge,they could be Metal Spinning formers.

What does the text imprint on them say, is it the manufacturer?

They are called a 'drill plate'. See near the bottom of this page:

Brilliant thank you for this although I'm not sure what it's still actually used for!!
I have used one to push a job square in the three jaw chuck, near enough to machine.
