Hi all hope everyone staying safe
I just purchased this ( see picture) it was advertised as a watchmakers drill press but i think it is to big for anything watch related, although I wanted it for clock related use and I think it will be perfect for that , I have never seen the like before, maker JHM, anyone seen one or know anything about it ?.

it is in very good condition, no play, very smooth, the only thing is it needs a new belt but the seller told me that when I purchased it. ( it was very cheap) and I think I have a very good deal.

Edit forgot to say the chuck is old but very good quality Jacob chuck 0 to 1/4” or 0 to 6.35mm in old money.

Its an Oldark Model S tapping machine. **LINK** .

Presumably re-badged as that reference says the makers were Engineering Products Ltd.

I have one of the cylinder gauges shown at the bottom of the page.

High speed sensitive drill Press, I picked up something similar for £50 a while back, I've been meaning to make a low profile X Y location table for it, get round to it soon, haha.
