Just bought an ama wm18L and need to take head off to lift onto bench. Must be very obvious and simple but cant see it please ……!
Dismantling
Have you looked underneath the head, get right down and look up towards the pivot point?
I don't have one but the one on the advert looks like my Warco. The screws that hold the head against rotation come out and allow it to be removed.
I think you also need to undo a grub screw that locate sin a groove in the head pivot that stops it sliding out. have a look for the Warco WM18 which is a similar and more popular machine.
