      looking for a new milling machine not sure what to get

      Then I came across a make called Bernardo looks like they are German or Austrian

      Anyone know anything about them

          Hi not looked at this make before but I have a Chester v16 z and it is the same as Bernado KF16 vario. Probably made in same factory, so you probably would be better off buying from more local suplier, there may be other UK suppliers of the same machine.

            Although many of these machines may look the same from a quick glance there are so obviuos differences between them all as well as ones you would be hard to spot deep down inside.

             

            For example I can see that he Bernardo does not have the fine feed to the quill that the Warco does so you will be forever reaching up to the top of the machine to try and put on a small measured cut.

            Then there is Motor power, Warco tend to state Input power, in this case 750W, Bernardo give and input of 800w and output of just 500w which is more likely what teh Warco puts out. Other sellers such as ARC just state output so you need to look closely at what you are buying to compare like with like is not easy.

            If you are in the UK than think about aftersales and spares support.

              The machine I was looking have just found out is 415volts so now looking at Warco WM 20

              Anybody got one or know anything about them

              Sorry I am asking this but this but I am using a bridgport vmc 1000 daily for my job and anything else seems small and weak
