I came across this comprehensive, well written and illustrated manual for the Precision Matthews 1236 lathe, which appears to match the Warco GH1236 in every detail. Would have been useful when I installed the lathe.

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for sharing. You can often find better manuals for chinese machine tools on US sites. I downloaded the Precision Matthews manual for my lathe a few years ago, better than the one that came with the lathe.

Real shame that Chester, (for example), can’t produce something like this….
