Winson Pug

Hello

I have recently bought a Winson Pug, its been built up for display purposes so im stripping it down to build it up again properly.

I have struggled to find information about how to improve this model. I have seen a few things which refer to modifications to the Axle Pump, slide valves, front end steam manifold.

I understand that the magazine covered the topic once but im unsure of the issue date and can't find a reference to it.

Does anyone have any hints, tips or advice to give me? I want it to be as good as I can make it so any advice would be great!
