Hi All,
This odd item came in a box of watch tools!
Seems to be silver plated? All I can think of is a spear for giant pickled onions!
5″ long; 1 1/8″ across the tines.
Any thoughts? Cheers, Martin
I think it is either a comb, or more likely a meat fork.
Mark.
If that fork is silver and hall marked it’s worth a pound or two See here

its silver plated but no visible hall marks
Definitely cutlery. Mum used it for serving carved ham etc,
If its silver plated it won’t have hall marks they are reserved for solid silver.
More like a hair ornament or broach
Apparently it is a bread fork, several on EBay? Soon to be another one 🙂
Martin
