Taiwan Lathe

I have just purchased a lathe made in Taiwan. It is called a Precision Bench Lathe model # 3001-0010. Does anyone know any thing about this lathe. It is a very well built lathe with very little wear. But I can't find anything out it on the internet. It appears to be about a 12 x 30. It was built around 1990.

A picture would help a lot. Someone might recognise it as a clone of another lathe or a generic type of which there is a plethora from this part of the world.

Hi Wes,

it looks a lot like the one in my link. Over the years many variants of different but similar lathes get imported from the far east.

This one from Grizzly looks very close (though it has a geared head and detail differences) their downloadable manuals are generally very good and will probably get you started.
