I bought a couple of these little ‘1598’ plates to mount things on the optical bench.

… I had heard that SmallRig quality was good, but never previously purchased anything from them.

Frankly … the quality of this product, and the packaging, are exceptional

and buying from the ebay store avoids the risk of import charges etc.

In case anyone is wondering about that 9mm pitch for the grid:

It’s to provide compatibility with the Arri pin-lock arrangement, and thereby opens-up the world of NATO -Rail accessories
