Undercoated im just informed, topcoat paint now arrived in dove grey & raven colours, being sprayed end of the week or next week … told they can then start putting it back together. Happy days !

Update …. The insurance money finally came through !!!!!! I’m overjoyed.

original bill was £895.20 to fix only the damage caused. Insurance would only payout about £700 of this, got a call from their assessor who said they’d not pay me directly as the third party but that the pallet company should honour the difference with petty cash … well, they did!!!.

transferred the money to TE-Bar this week.

paying extra for a paintjob & to have a dro fitted.

TE-Bar are a dealer for acu-rite & quoted me, it was onviously waaay out of my budget lol, The managing director laughed & said he told me it would be, he said “buy a chinese version & we’ll fit it, as an amateur it’ll do you just fine”.

The dro was posted to me in the week & the scales box was slightly bent, checked & all was fine, however, made me nervous of reposting on to TE-Bar in port talbot … i rang them & said i’d take a half day & drive it down to them.

this is how lovely they’ve been to me … managing director – “ I have a caravan in weston, im going there this sunday, how about i meet you in M4 services on my way home on sunday afternoon” …. Dro handed over safely yesterday.

paint finally going on today & tmrw, rebuild commences end of this week.

will update when i know more.
