About to start, based on a Minnie boiler as cylinder is the right end.

Anybody done anything similar please ?

You don't see many that way round. Are you going to put the rivet detail directly into the boiler or have a "dummy" with all the detail that encases the firebox? As Fizzy says keep us posted of progress.

              Jason.

This will be a first attempt for me so I had thought of putting rivets straight onto boiler as was not going to fit cleading.

I was thinking to make it in the style of – ie as long as it is a reasonable likeness – as opposed to making an exact replica

However any advice on this would be much appreciated.

The wooden wheels would also be a new one on me so just fancied the challenge of doing something a little different,

              Thanks

Looks like a great subject to model.

Project shelved in favour of something more interesting – details in a new posy.
