Large grinding wheels

I bought two of these at a collective auction .No one wanted them…i bid 2 quid and they were mine ! They're 20" x 12" bore and 8" wide . I can't find a picture of the machine they would fit …it must be huge . I only use them as bases for my water butts… Would they be used like a bench grinder , or horizontally on the flat sides ?

Any car would do …If i bolt it to a car hub , jack that wheel off the ground , have it in gear and start the engine … I could sharpen edge tools and stuff
