Hobbymat MD65 spindle bearing part numbers

Hi,

Does anyone know the part numbers of the spindle bearings please?

A friend is rebuilding his Hobbymat MD65 (c 1981 if that makes a difference) and can't see the part number on one of the bearings without removing (and very likely damaging) it.

One of them is a standard type – he's hoping the other is as well…

Most/all? bearings have a number on them. Without this number you need the sizes inside/outside/thickness, armed with this information go on to something like Simply Bearings or Bearing Boys web page and look up the bearing. Then decide on the most suitable quality/type for the application.

I haven't seen the assembly, but he tells me that to measure accurately the bearing would have to come off…

Scratch this request – I sort of assumed he'd done the "due diligence" thing and googled it – turns out probably not…

A quick search shows:

Front: 32206 (SKF part 32206J2Q)

Rear: 30305 (SKF part 30305J2)
