HELP! I a manual for an Elliott 618 surface grinder

Hi Folks,

 

I have recently aquired an Elliott 618 surface grinder.

 

I have no idea about the operartion or maintenance of this particular machine.

( For those with an uneasy feeling, dont worry, I used to use bigger versions in industry)

 

I would especialy like to know the correct grade of hydraulic oils to use, aswell as which lube oil / grease and were it should go.

 

I would very much like to get my hands on a copy of an original manual ( all costs covered), however, any help or information would be gratefully received.

Hi Folks,

 

Since it seems that there are more than a few owners of Elliott machine tools, such as grinders, mill’s, lathe’s and shaper’s out there, I have started a new yahoo group for all Elliott owners.

 

Hopefully, the owners of these machines can come together and generate a knowledge base for all machines from this manufacturer.
