      Hi,

I wonder if any one in the Aberdeen(shire) area (Tarves – but I can collect if it will fit in an estate) has an Engine hoist/crane I can borrow for a Day (or alternatively suggest somewhere I can hire which is < cost of buying one).

My Christmas present (WM290V+ Mill) is still languishing on the floor of my garage.

Then all I have to do is find something to make – Suggestions question smiley

      Many Thanks in advance

      Nick

Hello Nick-I don't have an engine hoist, but I do live about 10 miles down the road. If I can help with lifting let me know, have turfor and winch etc. Maybe slide up a ladder ? Just back from methlick so not to sensible. Note the coding to fool spammers.

Hi Gordon, Apologies for the delay in replying but thanks very much for your kind offer.
@250 kg is is probably a bit risky to try and lift it without a engine host or similar, but if I may, I'll give you a shout if I don't manage to track one down.
            Once again thanks
            Regards
            Nick

No probs. We are having a few minor probs. at the moment with floods, my little bridge is damaged but still passable. main road closed Fyvie to Methlick and Meth. to Ellon. A few suggestions- any friendly farmers nearby with tractor and loader ? Does the garage have decent roof beams to use a hoist? Could you construct an A frame, from timber or maybe 2 ladders?
