Hello from the Newcastle area.

Hi all,

 

My name is Brett and I live not far from the Newcastle area (towards the coast).

I am eager to get myself back into workshop projects with my (currently) broken Warco Super Major Mill and to get myself another metal lathe having recently sold my Boxford CAD. I fancy something that can be bench mounted and possibly from Warco.

I am a bit stuck with my mill and its repair so a friend suggested I join up here to (fingers crossed) find some helpful advice from some real experts. I will post a thread with a description on what I am stuck on or should that be with?

Anyway, I am off to read your posts and to (finally) learn things by reading and seeing how other people do their machining.

Welcome to the forum. I too have a Super Major mill which thankfully, has given good, reliable service. If I can be of assistance…….
