Hello all,

I've worked in engineering in Bristol for 30 years but unfortunately I been 'away from the tools' for too long! I enjoy using my Boxford lathe at home but recently upgraded to a Harrison M300 to give myself more capability, next I need to get a milling machine !

Looks like a great forum / website so though I would join up as I have a lot to learn !

Thanks for the welcome.

I enjoy making things generally but I do like classic British cars. I enjoy machining and TIG / MIG welding, which goes hand in hand with classic car ownership !

I'm one of those people who need to know how and why things are made the way they are so I can apply that knowledge elsewhere, that's why I've found this forum so interesting!
