EW Stringer Lathe – Anyone Fancy One?

I have an EW Stringer lathe that I am never going to get around to setting up and it is going to waste.

It is in sound condition: no discernible play in the headstock or tailstock, the saddle moves smoothly along the bed without play and the cross slide operates smoothly. It has a three-jaw chuck and a dead centre. There are no change gears and there is no motor.

Does anyone with, or without, one of these machines fancy another? I was given it for free and am happy to pass it on for free: either collection from Aylesbury or posted at new owner’s expense. If you are interested, please send me a message.
