      Duncan and Mick70, the problem is that these drive look like 2 1/2" and likely have different power feed arrangements to the physically larger drives normally fitted in full sized desktops.

      One of these would probably work, but my earlier suggestion is a cheaper option, and has the benefit of leaving Mick with a useful external backup drive.

        ordered one arrived today and recovered loads of pics etc a lot of which i had forgotten i had.
