Hello Not done it yet! Me too. If you can email me the docs you mention I'd be grateful. I have been to the Yahoo Groups Centec site but I can't figure out even how to log on, let alone delve around for specific items. I am going to order a manual from Lathes.co.uk, but if you've got the specs in hand with these other docs I'd be grateful to get them. I am on hugh@vsla.net

And thatnks Gary. Good to get the DRO spec. I have a Newall DRO on my M250 lathe, so it'll not be that hard to figture out.

There is other info there. Binswood seems to be a knowledgeable character on the forum. A mixture of armchair and practical posters as on any forum.

I'not sure what info you might get from lathesdotco, but I suspect the 'manuals' on epay are no better than the downloads from the appropriate fora. I know the Raglan ones are just a rip-off and likely a tenner for nothing more than what is available from the forum.

As the yahoo place is such a mess for trying to navigate anywhere with my tablet, I will send another couple of items I have gleaned.

The manual !! ( the set up doc mentioned above) you buy are the same as on the yahoo group for free.

It will not tell you how to dismantle it, just how to set up your shiny, new from the factory machine. Bit like your glovebox handbook that comes with a car, useless for changing the thermostat.
