I believe that the plug was made by Amphenol and may be found on RS components web site.

Bob, I had the same problem a few years ago, could not source new plugs and sockets so bought S/H plug off ebay, then found out there were two sizes made and I’d bought the large one when I wanted the small one.

Gave up at this point and replaced the whole lot with red 440v plugs and sockets

Used the standard big ones as I had a shed full.
I was more interested in getting the machine earning money plus if I ever broke one I’d have spares

Think this is it :- Niphan-Guard-Ring-Plug-63-39-16-PG40.

Gawd knows where the info came from but there is a text file called Bridgeport Head Power Plug lurking in the right place on my computer with a link to a supplier. Link is still live and picture looks like the right thing.

                      **LINK**

Industrial supplier so probably stupid minimum order but you can always ask.

                      Clive.
