I need to have a fancy bit of Brass cast.
I do have a master which can be copied. Also have some 100 year old brass of the right colour.
Tried Owl castings but way too expensive for what I wanted.
Any suggestions as to who to contact?
Try your local model engineering club ,they may have a contact. On the other hand you could ask Noel!!
My local club don't accept such jobs from non members.
Can't figure that one.
Noel?

Brian (I have no connection with them)
Madley did some non-ferrous from my patterns last year and they came out very well
Location? It might help.
I have used a local foundry, close to Market Deeping, in the past.
I've had Brass, Bronze, Iron and Ali castings done by these people. Always had good work from them. **LINK** Usual disclaimer, just a customer etc.
Manor Foundry Ilkeston Derbys. – Very helpful over the phone but the project was abandoned for other reasons so never actually used them.
North Yorkshire.
My casting needs are pretty small as in guards and could be done in a 2 part mould. A 4 part would be better and I hope retain any engraved detail.
You could also try Bridport Foundry (named after its West Dorset home town), which handles the Stuart range among many other things.
Madeley brass Telford are very good. Done several jobs for me with excellent results.
There is a small company in Bradford that does non ferrous casting – Monkman

I have sent you a PM. Noel.
