I am slightly nervous because despite first appearances, the Sender is

I do use ‘go cardless’ for another regular payment, but the ‘optics’ of this request seem a little strange.

I subscribe to the HJ and yes I am an associate member, but I have never got that email from the BHI. I pay my subs by DD.

Could it be one of them scams?

O.K. folks

The Gilligan Enterprises ‘self-help’ department has done the investigation.

I have just spoken with Donna Millichamp, who has confirmed that the eMail is genuine.

There is a paragraph about Direct Debit in the wrapper-page of HJ, and her eMail message [which all Direct Debit subscribers should receive]  is a follow-up to that.

Donna will also be posting a message on Facebook

Thanks for the heads up Michael, I have not got “the” email from BHI yet.

I think I will wait until the New Year and chase it up to see if I have to do anything…
