Just noticed that the Sceppach portable metal bandsaw at Aldi has been reduced to £114.99.

It looks the same as the Ferrex branded one I bought for £149.99 at Aldi in 2019.

Looks like a good buy if you want a budget bandsaw.

There are some good YouTube items by Peter Millard which do comparisons on various budget bandsaws including those from Aldi. Also note that Lidl in the forthcoming week (28 Jan – 03 Feb) will have their own budget bandsaw on sale under the Parkside brand at £80'

I did these revues in Nov 2019. The bandsaw is still running great if a little noisy. Do not confuse some as this one had a 550 watt motor & 2 speeds. Plus it has a die cast alloy bed.

The one I was referring to was the portable bandsaw, not the one that Steve has done the reviews for.
