Any AJ7,AJ8 owners on here?

I'd love to see any pictures you have of your milling machine…

I have one but it appears to have been 'modified' and am looking to restore it…

Hi John,

did you get anywhere with your Ajax AJ8? I have just bought one to restore and would appreciate some help. In particular I have a stub shaft in the base casting which has a grease nipple and grease grooves in it. do you know if this carried an other speed reduction pulley? or a tensioner /idler perhaps?

the spindle speed seems high (lowest is 660 rev/min) so another reduction would make sense.

any help you ( or anyone else with a similar machine) could shed would be much appreciated.
