Having a clearout of the workshop I've come across a QCTP and holders I had for a mini lathe that I no longer have, these were bought from arceurotrade and are in as new condition.

There is a wedge type tool post, 5 of 250-001 toolholders, 1 of 250-002 v toolholder, 1 of 250-004 boring bar toolholder and a oxa-7t parting blade toolholder.

I could put it on ebay but would prefer to give someone on the forum first refusal so could anyone give me a idea what I should be asking for them, think I paid over £150 for it all, just looking for a fair price for both parties.

Got to be worth £120 to £125 surely, with all those toolholders. Also the most popular one.

            Hi Joe,

That was what I got for my Dickson and four holders, to suit Myford.

Check out Arc for current prices?

If it's the smaller machfit wedge style, I ordered 5 holders from banggood a few weeks back, the standard holders were about £9 each, the tool post was £39 at the time, the prices go up and down every other day on that site, but it gives you an idea, I've seen them as low £8 for the standard holders.

If you are talking new you could get that lot in eBay for 70 quid plus maybe a bit of postage, maybe not – but are you comparing like with like?

I have never had an issue with anything that has come from ARC, while stuff from eBay or Banggood can be a bit of a lottery.

Sometimes it is worth the risk, other times you get just what you pay for ……………..

It's important to remember, bangood and ebay do not manufacture things, if a certain brand of goods is being sold, it doesn't matter who's selling it, some goods are unbranded, and of questionable origin, maybe you will have a problem with them.

I can say the machifit tool post and holders supplied through banggood have all been excellent.
