I have the plans for this model crane.

      The instructions say

"The double oscillating cylinder is bored and faced the face machined and the covers turned, in exactly the same way as described for locomotive cylinders".

Where can I find a description of turning locomotive cylinders?

            Hi Bri

            Thanks for the reply.

I have just obtained Tubal Cains book that shows this crane using two cylinders.

I think old curly forgot to mention using a casting for the cylinder.
