I am unable to access subscriber only content on the site, as my subscrition is shown as having expired in 2013. My subscription is current, paid by direct debit, automatically renewed, and the number is as shown against my details on the site (0*********). I have spoken to Duncan in advertising, and he helpfully advised creating this query as a forum thread. Could someone look at this problem for me please, my contact details on the site are correct. Thanks,

      Chris Marney

          Hi Chris

I have just logged in as you and had no problem getting access to the Model Engineeer Digital archive or the "Extra" section of the site.

Do you subscribe to both mags or just ME? also what was your previous subscription, if it was just a printed one then you will need to upgrade to Print Plus if you still want access to the online archive.

            Hi Chris,

I see you have the same subscriber number entered against both ME and MEW, which is incorrect.

Can you check that you haven't entered one wrong by mistake?

            Neil

Neil, thats not always the case some members seem to have the same number with different expiry dates on each mag and can access both mags online.

But Chris only has an expiry shown against ME that is why I asked if he subscribes to one or both.

Hi Neil, indeed it is not always the case as Jason says. Both my subs numbers are the same but expiry dates differ, but I haven't had any problems accessing both archives.

                Regards Nick.

Like Nick I have the same subs number covering both magazines, the expiry dates are about 5 months apart .

I was in the same situation, I had access to both ME and MEW archives but with a change of ownership things changed although I seem to remember reading David said that one of the benefits of subscribing was that your original subscription wouldn't change! mine was for print&digital for ME and digital for MEW, I with the change in ownership I couldn't access MEW archives and to regain that I had to upgrade my subscription, the way to access them is a bit iffy, the way to do it is to log in as normal and then at the top of the page click on magazines, which gives you a page telling you about upgrading your subscription, below is two links to ME and MEW archives, if you read the bumpf on the page it tells you that if you have a P&D or just a digital you will still get access, if that is the case I am puzzled why I had to upgrade my digital subscription last year. My sub numbers are the same.
