Popped along to Chronos in Dunstable this noon to buy myself some Xmas presents – 6" Soba rotary table kit including dividing plates, tail stock, chuck backplate etc. I have to say that I am pleased with the quality of my purchases – OK the engraved scale numbers on the rotary table appear to have been done by hand but they are NEAT.

The CHRONOS grotto seemed to be staffed by a bunch of very enthusiastic "elves" busily packaging stuff for Santa to deal with. I enjoyed my wander round the "grotto" and I look forward to going back when I need more kit.

Well, I have ordered a two axis display and two DRO's from Ketan @ ARC. Made sure they are ordered so that they will be here before Christmas so that's my Holidays sorted

Just been giving this some thought actually and wondering the best way to drill and tap my Mill to mount the bars?

If anyone has any suggestions I would be keen to read them. I was also thinking of maybe ripping a piece of UPVC pipe up the middle to make a cover of sorts, though I don't use White Water.
