            0.59 and 1.29 are the most interesting parts, showing how smooth intermittent cuts can be achieved IMO

             

            and please note how a good tailstock centre is required

            The tailstock unit is almost twice the size of the workpiece

              Nice work, using traditional tools.

              Ady1 makes an excellent point about using a good Tailstock Centre.

              It's also interesting to see the job held in a very ordinary-looking three jaw chuck … Obviously all turned at one chucking.

                Looks like the 3 jaw is only holding a centre as there’s definitely a dog driving the workpiece.

                Shows how sharp tools are a must !

                  … The headstock centre would have been trued-up in the 3-Jaw.
