Problem with locking chuck on lathe

Hi, today for the first time I am having problems with locking my lathe chuck too the lathe. It’s a Colchester bantam using the cam lock D1-3 system. The problem I am getting is that the camlock starts to undo during the job. I have tried resetting the Chuck pegs, but nothing works. Has anyone had this problem and what was the answer. Thanks

You probably already know this but if not it's from the Bantam manual.

Hi, yes I did know, but thanks anyway. I think I have a mix of wear on the chuck pegs and the locks. It’s a very old lathe
