Using Pan/Zoom Extents in AutoDesk DWG Truview to control the final view of the required printed image

I am using Autodesk DWG Truview to print selected views of drawings created in an old (2000) version of AutoCad. The technique adopted is to open the drawing file in Truview, use PAN to select the part of the display required to be printed followed by Zoom Extents to hopefully fill the view with an image of the required size. The problem I am finding however that the sensitivity of the Zoom Extents function as currently set is too coarse with the result that I cannot obtain the final degree of ‘tuning’ to give the required view, the image appearing on the screen being either too small or too large to make optimum use of the A4 paper size. Can anyone suggest how this problem may be overcome?

I used to set limits to two corners of the area that I wanted to print then just print limits. Or just insert a view into drawing view enlarged to fill an A4 or whatever sheet size then print. Most of my AutoCad was on versions from 9 to 2012.

Thanks for that but perhaps you can tell me how to set limits in Trueview.

If you have the latest version of Truview (may work in older versions) when you select plot the window will open and there is a selection of what to plot. If you choose window it will return you to the drawing for you to drag the mouse to create a window over what you want to plot.

PS Forgot to add that you want to select fit to paper as well rather than print to scale.
