Upgrading from an EMCO FB2 copy to Warco WM18

Can't comment not having had an Emco but have a WM 16 which is the smaller brother to the WM18 & I can't complain about mine. No doubt other members will give you a better comparison. IIRC Rik, Thor, Di Costa have the WM 18. I would have got the WM 18 originally but used the difference in price bought me some tooling.

George is right, I have a slightly smaller milling machine than the WM18 (different paintwork). My milling machine do has a MT 3 spindle, the WM 18 should also be available with R8, unfortunately that was not an option for my machine when I bought it many years ago.
I am satisfied with my machine and especially like the long table. I can have a vice permanently mounted to one side and use the other end of the table to clamp other work using an angle plate or similar.
