Textbook

Many moons ago (50 years +) a chap called Don Gordon, who was a well known model engineer, made reference to a textbook entitled 'Flame', which not surprisingly is about flames. I've tried searching Amazon, but as you will guess there are a lot of books with flame in the title. Anyone got any idea? There is no further info in DG's article

I think you must have bought the only copy Duncan. The only price I see now is £71.99 for an ebook. (huh?)

Definitely not worth a punt for me.

(Just noticed ABE has much less expensive real paper copies).

Looks like the first edition was 1969 … So I’m reasonably confident
