      .

A good while ago I purchased a couple of 3.3mm drills from Axminster. Today I was doing some tidying and took them out of the packet. ……………. Oh.!! surprise

      Not good at all eh.?

But what I find most unusual is that obviously they are from the same batch but both with different faults.

They look more like Downward Spiral router cutters, used so that the surface is not damaged by the cutter, the reverse spiral pushes the surface finish down onto the substrate as the cut is made.

              .

Quite the opposite. Axminster sell stuff at top dollar that is available elsewhere for much less money.

Couple of years at least ago now and I forget why I was in there TBH as I seldom buy from them even though the Warrington branch is only about 1 mile from me.

Almost, but not quite entirely, unlike twist drills!

Oh, well my mistake, I thought that being a 2 pack It wouldn't be too deep a dent in the wallet.

Maybe you can flog them to someone as special, slow helix, negative rake wet mud/sand drills?

Or how about this, they sell toffee hammers, why not a toffee drill?Just think, you can now fill your toffees with your favourite filling, or pretend a toffee has turned into a swiss cheese.
