HI,

I need a new 7 pin plug putting on one of my reader heads,is it possible to do yourself and if so where do you buy the plugs

I don't have Spherosyn scales, but Allendale sell adaptor cables – from their photos the connectors look like standard 7 pin DIN. You should be able to get one from Maplin (if only to confirm that they are DIN), or better quality ones from RS or Farnell.

Soldering DIN connectors can be a bit of a pain though, the more pins the more pain…
