Retired engineer from the nuclear power industry, looking to restart my interest in model engineering.

Some years ago when living in Scotland,  I picked up a part completed GWR 45xx loco chassis in 71/4 gauge. This has been sat in my workshop for quite some time, crying out for attention every time I walk past it.

I am also a keen classic car enthusiast, and I am currently restoring a 1959 big Healy (BN6).

I have a well equipped workshop which has taken me over twenty years to accumulate a good selection of machine tools and tooling etc.
