Picked this up recently. It was claimed by the owner, [rather seller of a deceased estate] to be a Colchester Dominion Student but I have yet to find any pics of one similar to it on the web. So I'm all ears if anyone knows

We got it loaded by splitting it off the stand and two of us lifted it onto a trolley, it was a fair way from it's old home to the waiting trailer. At the other end I used the engine crane. once assembled I lifted it onto two dollies [fit under the wheels of a car, have castors on them] and then wheeled it down the path to my shed at the back of the house. This was tricky as the dollies are only 2" narrower than the path, and the castors have a mind of their own!
Any, it's my first post, I'm phil, from Kidderminster Worcs. lathe is mostly for making bits for motorbikes, cars and any other on going projects. Came with a load of bits, taps, dies, chucks, cutting tools etc and also a large [and old and British] pillar drill
Any advice, oberservations etc are welcome
