Most of the ML7s that I have seen have had the Myford lettering picked out in red. I have also seen a couple with white lettering.

As I am repainting my lathe, I may as well get the lettering colour correct, so is it white or red?

This is for the standard grey ML7.

        Thanks,

        Andrew.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but mine is an original 1960's ML7 that's not had any work and it's grey.

On my early 60s original condition one the lettering is red.

I am immensely encouraged by your post – I quite often go out to the workshop ( about 20 metres) for something and, by the time I get there, I've forgotten what it was I wanted! sad

By the time I remember, it's too late. Happens more and more as I get older, nuisance really, I keep running out of underwear.

My early ML7s had red lettering, then early Super 7s had cream lettering.
