hi all, new to this site and hoping someone can help me out.i have the chance at buying a small myford centre lathe for resto, but am unsure whether it is an ml2 or an ml4, are there anyways to tell between these models? also, the lathe has no changewheels included, so do i need wheels specific that that lathe, or will the wheels of say an ml7 fit the same? before this lathe i have only ever bought new machines, mainly chester model lathes so i have always had the parts needed from the start, but this myford is a much better quality lathe. i am aware that myford sell all of their change wheels from their site, but would like to be sure before buying anything

The following section of Tony Griffiths website lathes.co.uk may help you decide which it is.**LINK** and may help with the changewheel question

. I have to grudgingly admit that I can't remember!
