Sherline Rotary Table, with Brian Mumford's Stepper Controller, being marketed as a photographic 'Motion Control' system:

Interestingly some of the basic 'goto' scope mounts have additional features and are also sold for photographic special effects. One example i saw could photograph multiple objects through a recurring sequence.
