      Spent the last couple of days designing this, to organise the draw under my lathe. It may be of use to someone else, so I'll post a link to my thingiverse parts:

          The 'bow tie' is a neat way to fix modules together – does it work well?

            David – so far yes. The tolerance on the fit is just right for friction to hold it in place. Not too tight that it just falls out, not too tight that you can’t take it apart.

            Its really only to keep the trays from separating whilst in the draw, and they’re all flat slat on the draw base; that aside the 6 tray section in the photo held together whilst the missus picked it up and asked what it was. So its been rigorously tested. wink
