Model Engineer Societies in North Yorkshire

Hi, Im soon to move to Bedale, N. Yorkshire. Unfortunately, I dont believe there to be any societies within a reasonable distance to my new location.

Please can anyone advise me otherwise?

I am currently the Secretary for a notable society in the Midlands; as well as being the founder member of a successful society elsewhere in the UK. With this in mind (should there not be a society in the Bedale area, if there are enough interested people, I would be interested in starting a new group.

I look forward to hearing from any forum members.

Hi Cliff,the two closest to you would be pickering model engineering club [PEEMS] and rydale club at gilling east,further afield there's south durham based in hurworth grange, teesside small guage railway base in preston park near stockton or cleveland association of model engineers based in the grounds of darlington pumping station, the club i'm in [northern road locomotive society] only caters mainly for road locos & we don't have grounds,hopes this helps.
