Can anyone suggest a supplier of spur gears and internal gears suitable for model engines please?

I have looked at the HPC website but was wondering if there were any others suppliers around.

and I think they are agents for Boston Gear so an even wider choice if you can afford them.

GMB Associates are also Boston distrubutors, Muffet Gears would be worth a look too though I mostly use HPC.

This German supplier also came up on another forum as the model had their internal gears speified, you can buy their stuff via Amazon. Maedler

The other firms that I have used for gears if I havn't made my own are Duval gears in Hartfield, WMH transmissions limited in Tamworth Staffordshire, and Relience gears.

Most of these you can buy on-offs I would think and these days lots of the model engineering suppliers seem to keep gears in stock

I also for got to add there are quite a few model engineering machinist that you can put your requirements to them and get a quote for gears that you might want.

The other way is seeing if there is any other model which uses similar gears that one of the model engineering suppliers keeps that gear in stock.

It worth looking on the net and on Ebay.
