Hi David

 

I have not been a regular reader of ME (got the complete series of MEW) but I did enjoy the series “Letters to a Grandson” when I did get an issue. Even bought a few issues just for that column.  I think I read that, sadly, Mr Ellis passed away recently.

 

What are the chances of having the whole series either published as a book or put onto the Website?  I know I would buy the book, how about others?

 

I made this suggestion to a previous editor but it did not go anywhere.

I don’t remember being landed with this task, though it would be interesting! What I was going to do was make contact with old associates of Monty’s (we were both members of a totally different organisation) to see if they had come across anything unpublished in his effects which may be of interest. Will keep looking.
